Consultation
With any landscape project big or small we like to start with a consultation. This meeting usually lasts 45 minutes to an hour where we meet on your property and discuss your goals and landscape. We look at your entire property and the adjoining properties for a full picture even if the changes you are looking to make are focused in one area. We offer a questionnaire prior to our meeting to begin learning about your site conditions and how you wish to use your property.
While we are open to brainstorming design ideas or plant choices during this meeting, a good plan takes site condition research and us asking more questions to better get to know your preferences. It is a process. We are also able to discuss hardscaping (stonework, carpentry, other built features) or site work, which may make sense to solve certain site issues (such as drainage or a steep non-mowable slope).
After the consultation, we provide a detailed write-up of what we discussed, next steps which may include a proposal for design work, as well as general recommendations.
For properties in Montpelier, VT, we charge $100 for consultations. Properties outside of the City are $100 plus a travel fee. Click HERE to schedule your consultation.
